Celebrations At New Life
Palm Sunday, March 28, 10:15 am. In our morning worship gathering, we enter with Jesus into the Passover Festival with a procession of palms and focus on the story of his passion and triumph.
Palm Sunday Evensong, March 28, 6:30 pm. As evening comes, we reflect on the revelation and saving work of God in Christ in this contemplative gathering of song and silence, prayer and communion.
Holy Week Bible Study, March 31, 7:00 pm. We gather for a close reading and in-depth study of the passion narrative from the Gospel of Luke and reflect on its meaning for daily life.
Maundy Thursday, April 1, 7:00 pm. We hear God’s calling to live the life of loving and serving revealed in Christ, and we share in the sacrament of God’s table, prepared for us in the midst of the world.
Good Friday, April 2, 8:00 pm. In this Tenebrae “Service of Darkness,” we gather at the foot of the cross as Jesus makes the ultimate sacrifice of love, healing and forgiveness.
Easter Sunrise Prayer, April 4, 7:00 am. We gather on the land which will be the future home of New Life to greet the dawning of the day of Resurrection.
Easter Breakfast, April 4, 9:00 am. We share a breakfast together in the Youth Center to celebrate the community into which God calls us as we make the journey of faith together.
Resurrection Sunday Worship, April 4, 10:15 am.
A festival celebration of new life as the gift of God in Christ at Easter.
Easter Evensong, April 4, 6:30 pm. A contemplative gathering for prayer and thanksgiving as we look ahead to life in a resurrected world.
