New Life Lutheran Church is truly blessed to have the positive guiding energy of Brad Highum.

Brad began serving as Pastor Intern at New Life while he completed his seminary studies at the Lutheran Seminary Program in the Southwest in Austin.  He answered the call to the ministry following a career of more than 20 years in corporate operations and marketing management.
 
Brad joined New Life following six years of service as Minister of Adult Education and Development at Riverbend Church in Austin. He brings tremendous gifts to our community and deep commitment to equipping and encouraging all people to live out the Gospel in mission and ministry.  Brad was ordained and installed as New Life’s pastor in November of 2007.

Originally from Minnesota, Brad met and married his Texas sweetheart Nance in Colorado, where their daughters Jesse and Carly were born.  They join us in inviting you to come and worship with us, and to consider making New Life your church home, as well.
